Jockey Club
Not-for-profit organisation
The Australian Chinese Jockey Club (ACJC) is a prestigious membership-based organisation established as a not-for-profit entity. Founded in 2016 by Douglas You, the club was created to engage and unite the Asian community in Australia through a shared passion for horse racing. ACJC serves as a social and cultural bridge, offering members opportunities to experience the excitement, tradition, and community spirit of the racing world.
Horse racing — and particularly horse ownership — has long been viewed as an elite pursuit in Asia. Yet, with a growing number of affluent Asian residents in Australia and the increasing success of horses owned by Chinese interests, ACJC recognises the opportunity to make the sport more accessible. The club introduces members to all aspects of horse racing — from breeding and ownership to club participation and the art of wagering — all within an inclusive, entertaining, and community-focused environment.

It’s a social club for Asians with focus on Chinese who are living predominantly in New South Wales, and open to Asians of other states in Australia.
We are not syndicators, we aim to create a force in the industry and be a passionate advocate of our interest. We plan to provide our members with “quality” services that our members are accustomed to and come to expect from our Club.
